It is the policy of Ambar Lone Star to meet its safety and health responsibilities and to continuously strive to maintain a safe working environment at each location where work activities are occurring. The goal of the safety and health process is the prevention of accidents and injuries, the preservation of equipment and capital, and the achievement of safe working practices. In order to accomplish these goals, it is Ambar Lone Star's policy to:
- Avoid accidents and other unplanned occurrences that result in injury to employees, interruption of production, or damage to equipment or property.
- Take all action necessary in engineering, planning, designing, assigning and supervising work operations to establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment on projects and in all facilities.
The procedures and directives in the HSE manual are designed to be an integral part of the development of cost-effective and site-sensitive safety processes. It is the responsibility of each Ambar Lone Star manager or supervisor to effectively implement these plans.
